Abstract

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur (MEES) mandated Université TÉLUQ to develop a training program to familiarize Quebec teaching staff with distance education (DE). The tension between the need to produce training quickly and the need to offer quality training is at the core of the problem presented. The purpose of this article is to share the experience of some of the actors who have worked on the development of the J’enseigne à distance training program. In order to approach the delivery deadlines while ensuring the good quality of the content, three factors have been decisive: division of labour, involvement of many actors and adaptation to needs.
