Digital Competences of Belgian Students: Portrait and Proposals for Support

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to take stock of the level of digital competence of Belgian students in the absence of a training program. A survey was conducted among the entire university community on the basis of the DigComp 2.1 and the Technological and Pedagogical Content Knowledge model. The results bear witness to inequalities and several weaknesses, even if we observe a change in what has been achieved after university. Support courses are proposed to reinforce success.
