Abstract

Apprehending and understanding practice transformation is a methodological challenge. In this paper, we test and illustrate a research method using the Personal Learning Environment Modeling Method (MEPA) to model students’ learning practices before and during COVID-19 containment and their transformations in light of changes in teaching and learning environments highlighted by the Hy-Sup Hybrid learning and teaching environment Positioning Tool. This method reveals changes in the constituents of the PLE in relation to the learning design of the teaching environment, the personal characteristics of the learner and the processes of construction and regulation of the PLE.
