Abstract

The adoption by the European Community of the European Qualification Framework (EQF, 2008) has refocused the education and training on the qualification of competences. To operationalize this goal, the academic community must adopt integrated pedagogical systems. OpenScenario and OpenSyllabus jointly offer a possible solution by providing a set of tools to create, manage and publish structured course websites as well as scenario based activities for learning and assessment leading to formal qualifications to be posted on professional social networks.
